Semi-geek
Howdy all,
I'm a level-3 geek and power user of just about everything from Windows to Unix and even some Android. I know enough to use tools others develop and can sometimes even parse out how it works. I bricked my KFHD (boot partition is corrupted) and, since I mostly read on it anyway, replaced it with a Paperwhite 2. So far I have rooted it and added the screensaver hack. I'm interested in installing an image viewer and perhaps a couple card games though I suspect the memory will fill up pretty quickly. I am somewhat lost, being new to many of the terms being used in this forum. My next stop is look for a post explaining what the different hacks, such as USBNetwork, do and which ones work on PW2. If anyone knows where to find such a primmer, I would appreciate if you would post a link. Party on... |

All this information will be located in the Kindle Developer's corner sub-forum, and one of the stickies there is Kindle Developer's Corner Master Index which sorts out all the information available for anything Kindle-related.
