				ePub book category

My book download from the iBookstore displays the correct category (self-improvement) in the iBooks reader.

But, when I drag the original ePub file from my desktop to iBooks, the category is incorrect. It displays 'anam*cara' the first listed subject as the book category. Is there a way to correct this on my local ePub file? <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <package xmlns="http://www.idpf.org/2007/opf" unique-identifier="BookID" version="2.0"> <metadata xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns pf="http://www.idpf.org/2007/opf"><dc:title>An Artist Empowered: Define and Establish Your Value as an Artist—Now</dc:title> <dc:subject>anam*cara</dc:subject> |

Dragging my original ePub file into iBooks creates an iTunesMetadata.plist file.

I didn't see a category by name listed, but I did change the following 'genre' string to Self-Improvement, and that worked. </dict> <key>genre</key> <string>Self-Improvement</string> Thanks for looking. |
