Hi, everyone
I need help with a problem: i was using the firmware 2,8,1 in my Kobo Touch and tried to install the older firmware 2.4.0 and my Kobo frozen at the screen "Restarting". now, if i try to power it, this screen never goes away (the battery is full) and the light blinks one green, one blue, and then blink the green light forever, and nothing happens I'm from Brazil, and my Kobo came from factory with the firmware 2.5.1. Maybe this is the reazon of the problem? Nevertheless, i try both factory's resets (holding the home button and with the back hole) and nothing changes i also tried, after reading some messages here in the forum, pull out the back cover and disconnect the battery from the power for a while, and reconnected again (maybe this caused other bug, now is more difficult to power the device) and tried to take out the internal memory card, put it on my computer and place a new Kobo firmware at the .kobo directory (after unziped) and again, nothing happens. What do i do? |

Check in the Kobo Developer's Corner where there are a couple of threads about obtaining images of the internal card. Bom Dia. Tente isso,
This is how I restored my Glo after the WSOD (White Screen Of Death) which occurred during a manual install of a earlier firmware. Do a Soft reset whilst the squares are going around and around. Screen should now be white. whilst screen is white (non active), connect Glo to PC (kobo desktop inactive). switch unit on again. follow the reset prompts. |
