I recently got a kindle 3 from someone and I realized it's password protected. I've tried the resetmykindle trick but it doesn't seem to work for me. Am I doing it wrong? Can someone help me?
Does the battery need to be at a certain percentage? Last edited by BlacKobalt; 09-21-2013 at 02:25 AM. |

IIRC, the hard factory reset trick works in these cases (the downside is that it actually does a factory reste, wiping books & settings in the process):
Unplug your kindle, then do a hard reboot (hold the power switch for ~15s), then hold [HOME] as soon as possible during the boot, then follow the on screen instructions. |
