Calibre not updating...

Hello everyone. For some reason, I receive the notifications of 'New Versions Available', and I can download and install them, but when I re-launch Calibre, it says that my current version is 0.9.40 when it should be 0.9.43.

I didn't auto-launch it after the update, because I have a tonne of books, and I have it as a button on my taskbar.

Is there something going on here?

1) the update did not complete? (you left the content server running or Calibre in the tray. Ctrl-Q to quit.)

2) You have a Second Calibre install (32 v64 or Portable) and your shortcut is launching one of the others

3) something else

Hmmmm.. Thanks for the assistance! However, Calibre did quit, I made sure of it. And I'm not sure about any secondary Calibre Install, but if I were to re-install Calibre, could I perhaps keep my old settings? I'd rather not have to re-configure everything.

However: I actually didn't install this onto my PC. I copied the install folder from another, because for some reason my internet speeds wouldn't enable me to download it.

Calibre leaves settings Library and in place.

(just) Copy the Programs (calibre2) folder to a different system

Copy the downloaded Installation file to additional systems (assumes compatible OS )
