calibre not installing in English
Eery time I try to install Calibre it appears in a language other than English (I'm in the United States). Please help me solve this problem! It's frustrating.

Which operating system, Calibre runs on Windows, OS/X and Linux,

I know dozes of people in the Good ole USA whose OS is NOT defaulted to English.
Something in your OS is/was telling the initial Calibre install to use other than English.
Once this happens, Calibre remembers the Interface Language that was used.

Preferences: Look and feel: Choose Language (the 3rd one down)

I'm using Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. space I've just started using it for the last couple of weeks. As best I can tell it's set for English but I'm still kind of lost In Windows 8 so, I'm not quite sure.

Are you able to follow the advise from theducks

Preferences->ctrl/p

Look and Feel - paint pot at top left

In windows 8 language is set in Control Panel->Clock, Language and Region - much the same as its always been - here's a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nux2TR8evJU

Thanks BetterRed! That did the trick. I just changed the language in Calibre itself. Windows 8 was already in English.

Which English, there are a dozen or more 'dialects' from Australian to Zimbabwean, and which keyboard.

Be good if the Calibre install gave an indication of what it detects.

I'm using United States English and the default keyboard. I've got calibre installed in English now.
