I'm using calibre with my cybook odyssey HD. By default calibre write in the digital editions folder. Is it possible to change it to the root. I would like to something like: \my name\books\author ... (my name is a custom clomon in calibre) I get to do something like that but only under the digital editions folder. thanks for help. xpj |

\{#mycustomcolumnID}\books\{authors} Did you catch that books is a Literal (hard coded) part of the path? \ebooks\{authors}_Titles\{title} is a valid composite of fields Note: I use an underscore instead of spaces (bad practice) in field names Last edited by theducks; 05-12-2013 at 07:24 PM. No, I already tested.

My template is : /{#proprietaire}/{author_sort}/{series}/{series}{series_index:| – | – }{title} It works well, but the folder /{#proprietaire} is generated under digital editions's folder |

Your device will have hard coded rules, you can work arond it if you so desire by using connect to folder or creating a user defined device, as described ehre: http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq....-connect-to-it

Thanks for this recipe. I didn't know how to use a non standard device. Is there any impacts on the device management? congratulation for your app, it is a great job |

Is it normal that on my odyssey, the epub name seems to not be visible. I explain:

I use this template: /{author_sort}/{series}/{series}{series_index:| – | – }{title} – {authors} so I've got folder with the author and all epubs from this authors are in this folder, but the series index is not displayed by the odyssey. On my KOBO it works. Is it possible too on the odyssey? perhaps should I put the index first in the name and dispaly redered by name? Last edited by xpj; 05-13-2013 at 04:25 PM. |

Okay, I've solved my problem putting the series index first in the file name.
