Need help with using Android Transfer

			Hi

I hooked my Arc up to my Mac and using Android File Transfer was going to try to put some books that I have on my computer onto the Arc. I don't know where to put them though. I have some different file options to drag to such as Download, Pictures, DCIM ect. but nothing that seems to be appropriate to drag a book to. I tried putting one in as a new file and one into Download but I don't see them anywere when I look at the Arc. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much |

I'd make a folder and call it Books or something similar and drag n drop the books there although you don't have to I just like to keep things organized (you might even want author sub folders inside the books folder).

Then open the Kobo app on the Arc, from the library page tap the menu/settings cicon, and select import content. (I think I got it right, I'm going from memory of what I saw when browsing the user manual) |

Thanks much that worked great! Just curious do you know if you can go the other way, transfer books from from the kobo to the computer?

Well, the books you added yourself should be re-transferable if that's what you mean. If you mean books purchased from Kobo then you'd probably want to download the regular ePub version from the Kobo website (in your library) instead of trying to transfer the kePub version the Arc would download.
