Anyone else have a tny reddish tinge in upper corners when light is on?

My new Kobo Glo crashed twice during setup. It has been working fine all day but the only issue I have right now is a slight reddish tinge in the upper left corner when the light is turned on. It seems to be from the sensors---if I look deep on the bottom side, I can see the red sensors in there, but they don;t cast a glow when the unit is on the way this top corner does.

Anyone else have this? I am wondering if it is normal or not. If people think it isn't then, given the crashes, I would rather err on the side of caution and return it for an exchange. If it is normal though, then maybe I am over-reacting? Pic attached.

Never seen anything like this on the readers, I have owned, that use infrared touchscreen.
So I would say definitely not normal.

I have a red line all around the edges of my Glo's screen when the light is on,
though I can only see it if I tilt the device, and yours looks more noticeable.
I believe it's the infrared touch screen.

It must be one of the red diodes that for some wrong reason can be seen through that angle.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments. I decided that I felt better taking it back, and my new reader set up with no glitches and has no red glow in the corners

It must have been a faulty diode or whatever. I am glad I took it back.

I do see some red light when I peek inside the USB port at the bottom of my Glo. But I don't see any light coming from the top of the screen.

I have a small (1 inch) little red line at the top left that I can only see if I tilt the Glo at an extreme angle. Don't see it when reading. I can also see some red when I look through the usb port. Again, I don't see this when reading. I figure the light for the backlighting has to come from somewhere and I am not that curious to investigate how the Glo works. I think the red, contrary to others in this thread, is probably "normal" and not a sign that your Glo is about to have a meltdown. If my hand burns sometimes in the next month as a result of the Glo blowing up, you may all laugh at my expense.

The red you are seeing on the Glo is probably just the light reflecting off of the touch sensors. Sometimes (generally?) Infrared LEDs are in a reddish plastic, and depending on tolerances, you may be getting some reflection from the sensor strips, which are at the edges of the screen.
