Just Noticed Something Today...
Probably applies to all of 'em, but I just noticed today that my Touch recognizes page turns quite nicely when I'm wearing gloves (cold outside today, but I like to read while walking, so had one ungloved hand, then accidentally touched the screen with my gloved thumb holding the Touch and got a page turn...). So, looks like I'll be able to continue to read while walking during the winter instead of having to give up that pleasurable way to pass the time from A-B. So nice.

Most current touch eink readers use infrared sensors to detect touch. Most modern touch LCD screens use capacitive, for multi touch, and those are the ones thst cant be touched by just anything

I think I've seen gloves with pads on the fingers so you can use capacitive screens with them.

Yeah, they make those, by having some metal woven in. That way you're still in electrical contact.
