[KT5] Web browser no longer accepts file:///mnt/us ?
I'm trying to open `file:///mnt/us/` in the web browser but I am getting the "Invalid Protocol" error... this is a brand new Kindle Basic (11th gen) running 5.16.8
I find it weird that I am getting this behavior because I'm pretty sure I had it working at some point yesterday (I have a couple Kindle's I play around with so I am not 100% sure it was with this one).

Ok so it seems it's because the browser switched to a chromium version on 5.16.4 and the previous method of filtering protocols no longer applies.
I have not checked the current browser to see if there is any bypass to this filtering. ref: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...light=chromium |
