Margaret Atwood on Wattpad
Apologies if somebody else posted this already, did a quick search and saw no mention of it.
Article in the Guardian. I had never heard of Wattpad before. I have to say, I like her attitude. She seems more than willing to accept the changes happening in the publishing world.

I really like her. I saw her tweet the link to her article. Wattpad looks nice and I may recommend it to my daughter.

She's a Canadian treasure! Last year she took on Toronto City Hall over library closures... With success! This is one author that definitely endorses having her books available in public libraries as well!

I've had Wattpad on my phone for ages, but I never use the damn thing. It seems like a great idea, but I've never got any time to use the thing.

I am registered at Wattpad, not that I like it that much, but once in a while there is something really new and interesting. I enjoy reading Atwood a lot, and I like her attitude towards publishing I must say. It is refreshing to read this coming from a recognized international writer !

Heard about Wattpadd from years ago, before iPhones debuted. Was a viable outlet for eBooks in the days of SMS...
My problem back then was the selection (and SMS charges...). |
