				Want to watch movies on Kobo e-reader box , HELP!
			 
			
			hi everyone my name is mark and i am in some desperate need of your help! i have a KOBO E-READER VOX and i am looking to watch movies on it but i am pulling my hair out trying to do this I've spend hours trying. I've tried many different movie players but no luck I've tried aac, mp4 , avi , no luck. i downloaded films via my mac and put them on a micro sd card, popped that into the kobo but no luck the closest i got was on rock player where some old short videos i made from my phone appeared but no movies? can anyone help me out? thans |

			Have you tried Mobo Player?  It generally works for everything that doesn't have DRM.

			ill try that now. all the media players can't seem to find these movies on my Card? don't know whats going on

			What about if you go to the movie file directly using a file manager like Astro and try opening it from there?

			mate u are a legend! spent 5 hours on this. downloaded a file manager, opened a video with VLC. legend!!!

			i just posted this. do u know anything about this by any chance.. trying to get internet (non wi-fi) on the kobo. i travel to london a lot and there is no wi-fi on the trains. i also have a flat in london with no broadband. would be great if i could use this kobo on trains etc. I'm sure i saw somebody connected on a train before? is there anything i can pay for for it or anything at all? |

			The only thing I can think of is some type of MiFi device.  I know at least one of our moderators, HarryT, who's from the UK has mentioned using one (not specifically for the Vox). I don't know if this is a good one or if the price is good compared to others... http://store.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/MiFi Basically a MiFi device uses 3G (4G?) to access the net and acts as a WiFi router for devices like the Vox. 			hello ...Me too!  ive spent so many hours goggling how to watch a movie ive got a movie thats an mp4 have downloaded he app VLC that wont play - just tells me its unstable and there are no files (i have a 32gb SD card that is mounted)  ive tried using the already installed Gallery - but it says it cant play this video..... the reason i brought a kobo was because it said i could watch movies.... please help ...Mavis also ive read about Astro futher up the thread whats that? im a user not a programmer...
