DroidWall at Android Market(rooted only) should prevent an autoupdate of Kindle Fire

The app allows you to choose which apps are allowed to connect to the internet. This is useful for people like me who have a limit on bandwidth from an ISP service. I have satellite and can only use 200 MB's per day before having to pay extra. You can allow your email and a browser and whatever else you need and block all others (until you click on them). This should block an autoupdate of Amazon and you can allow the update whenever you want to do it. |
