Initialize languages field

I have a problem with the new languages field - It is empty for records already included in the library. How can I force calibre to use the data
inside the ebook file like it does when a new book is added?

There isn't any way to bulk access the metadata in an epub except through the add new book method

But the metadata in ebooks is notoriously unreliable, so you're probably better off doing it by hand anyway.
