Hello all,
I recently got my new Orizon ![]() I have not managed to view my gmail inbox, while as soon as I connect the wifi and get the google homepage, it shows me as signed in. So when I navigate to gmail, I get an error that says I have not enabled cookies on my browser. I saw that the latest firmware has a bugfix for cookies, so I checked which firmware my device had and it is the latest!!! I wonder if I am doing something wrong. ![]() |

I have no cookie problem. My inbox shows up, with a message advising to use the html simplified version.
Are you sure you are up do date ? it's build 1398 for me. (in the about screen) Last edited by EowynCarter; 10-10-2011 at 03:39 PM. |

I used to have that problem but it seems to work for me after the last (or second last I can't remember which) firmware update.

yeap 1398 is firmware's built I got it with, it was the first thing I checked, since I wanted to have the latest firmware.
I checked the file cookiecollection.db and it seems that there are cookies stored for google accounts. Still though whenever I access gmail, I get this message : "We've detected a problem with your cookie settings" and I get advised to eather enable cookies or clear cache and cookies, or adjust privacy settings... All these options though seem not available with the orizon browser I think I will have to talk with the support |

Have you tried deleting (back it up first) the cookies file?

I was just thinking of doing that Jellby. It seems that there is a cookie mismatch actually, since my account on goodreads works just fine and it needs cookies too.. I will try it and post results

I did clear the cookies by deleting the data in the cookies table in cookiecollection.db file... but still no luck with gmail.
I wrote to the Bookeen support and got the following answer Quote:
![]() So I was wondering EowynCarter when you said Quote:
In general has anyone had any luck with Gmail on Orizon? |
