Issue with my Kobo (Software + Account)

Hi,

Yesterday, I bought a Kobo N16 (first generation - running on firmware 1.8.1) and I downloaded Kobo Desktop from kobobooks.com/desktop (PC version). I plugged my Kobo in my PC and the software detected my Kobo. I registered/linked my device with my Kobo account. Everything worked well... I got the "successfully" message that my Kobo is now linked with my account.

The problem is that the software is always asking me to Register/Link with my kobo account every time that I plug it into my PC. I am incapable to sync it with my kobo account. I checked in my kobo and the account is well registered in my device.

I tried with my girlfriends kobo and it worked well. The software detects it perfectly (didn't ask to register/link every time).

Does anyone know what the problem might be?
