Can't turn off Pocketbook 360...

I have been a happy owner of a pocketbook 360 (not plus) for a month or so and have read I don't know how many books on it already. Today it suddenly refused to work however.

The little green light is on, so I suppose that the machine is on, although the screen is blank. Irrespective of what I do the light does not turn off. I have a 2 GB card in it, but I have had that for many weeks now with no hitch. I have tried removing it - no luck. Pressing any combination of buttons - also no luck!

Connecting it to a computer - no luck.

Is it possible to force a hard reset without having to be able to turn the machine off in some way (I can't see any secret hole to stick a pin in) - or should I just give up and send it back?

Hoping for revolutionaly new ideas !

all the best / Björn

It's not a revolutionary idea but taking out the battery for a few minutes in most cases helps.

Remove the backcover, there's a small reset hole near the battery

It is locked up.
Slide off the battery cover and you'll find the reset switch next to the battery.
The cover is usually a tight seal with an almost invisible seal so be careful not to bend the reader, just apply firm steady pressure and run a fingernail along the seam. (The cover is the bottom half of the back end.)
It reset and it should reboot.
