Converting CHM to PDF - pages not on 1 page

Hello,

I am trying to convert a textbook from CHM to PDF, and Calibre does a fairly nice job, actually. My only real gripe is that the pages seem to run together - eg, the line break for pg 54 may appear in the middle of the page being viewed (complete with horizontal line and pg number), resulting in tables, paragraphs, etc being broken up between virtual pages, and the page numbers corresponding even worse than usual for a textbook.

I would really appreciate any suggestions to fix this page problem!

I think PDF page size is dependant on what output device you selected, so picking another one may help. Apart from that, from what I know, CHM hasn't really got a concept of print pages, so what actually appears on a page might differ wildly depending on the size of one "page" in the CHM.

I was kind of afraid of that, after trying to convert a dozen different ways. CHM just doesn't seem to be a great format for this. Thanks for the help though!
