				Gorilla glass

I am going to be buying the Samsung Epic from Sprint in a few days and I noticed that one of the features if that phone, and a couple of others, is that it will have Corning's Gorilla glass. I did some research and was really impressed. It actually makes a screen practically scratch-proof! This would be a great addition on the next iterations of enTourage's DEVICES!

Ooh! Do let us know the pros and cons of it after you've had it for a while and put it through its paces. My kids were playing Frozen Bubble on my eDGe today, and even though I was holding it, I cringed every time their chubby (grimy) little fingers touched the screen.

I know in the mac rumours forums some are wishing the next version of the macbook air comes with gorilla glass. It would be sweet.

It does look great, but, (assuming it is a glass and not a plastic) how will it affect the weight of the Edge. If it is a 'glass', I think it might push the weight issue, of the eDGe, over the top.

I don't think it will affect the weight at all...I'll tell you when I get my Epic 4G.

If its glass, then its probably a capacitive screen and not resistive, like those that apple offer on the ipod/iphone. I'm not sure how the glass would affect the e-ink stylus, but it would definitely give a very different feel to the LCD side as its an entirely different technology.
