Loading contacts

I want to load contacts that I created from Outlook 2007. However when I go by the instructions, I see no button or way to have the eDGe contact app to point to a file to load. Does anyone else see a problem with the app?

The fantastic Nitrodesk TouchDown Exchange client for Android allows smooth importing of contacts to the eDGe. More on the program is at this thread:

Personally, though, I don't use my eDGe contacts very much, since I'm mostly sending emails from within TouchDown anyway.

Thanks for the kind words about our baby, Boris and Devseev!

yes...it does. (kinda)

we do have a USB sync option, but it's a bit ...well...cabled. It works just fine though.

We also support Notes sync via USB cable, for those of you who live and die with Outlook Notes. (Exchange 2010 supports notes OTA, FINALLY....and so will we in this summer's release.

more or less.

Once you sync the contacts via USB cable, you can then export them from TouchDown to the device phone book, therefor making them accessible to K9. You won't ever be able to access them directly from another app, cause Internet mail + Exchange = BAD\

This is only possible in months with no "r" and while the moon is in retrograde. (unless you are south of the equator, then it's reversed)

Love your program Ron! One question, though...I had purchased a key for my old Android phone. I returned it. I was wondering, though, if I could transfer that key to my trial of Touchdown on my eDGe?
