Good, Inexpensive Case+Light+Stand Combo for PRS-350
What are the best cases for the PRS-350 that double as a stand?
What about clip-on lights? The Kindle has promising looking options. For example, for ~$37, you can get: M-Edge Light ($20) and ACase Cover & Stand ($17). There are a few similar options for the PRS-350, but they aren't as popular, so it's harder to find information about them. I don't plan to get the Sony case with light as it doesn't seem to function as a stand, gets low durability reviews, and is a bit pricey. Last edited by barium; 01-31-2011 at 04:08 PM. |

Thanks for the link. That looks like a promising case. Do you know whether a clip-on light would work with it? Also, do you have any clip-on light recommendations?

You are welcome, barium. No, I bought a similar case with i-nique once for my Italica Reader and hated it. I am simply not the flip-style type of girl

The mightybright travelflex is good. It uses 1 AAA so batteries are rechargable and cheap. It's light and bright. It clips fine on the standard Sony case. I got one for $15 on Ebay incl. shipping.

Thanks for that recommendation. Does the Travelflex attach to the 350 itself, or do you attach it to a cover? If you attach it to a cover, which one do you use? Edit - I see you use a 650, but I imagine the cover and bezel thicknesses for the two are very similar.

It attaches to the case. I use a standard Sony case. You can attach it to the spine or the back cove behind the reader (which is what I do because it's more fixed). If you do a search for it on mobileread, you'll find a bunch of photographs of it in use.
