Avoid Nook for Mac
After seeing J Hempel's thread on Smashwords formatting, I thought I ought to warn Mac users about downloading Nook for Mac.
I was having a problem getting a sample of K C May's new book, "The Kinshield Legacy" (worth a read if you like adventure/fantasy of the Conan style) and found one at B&N, so I d/ld their reader for Mac. I was shocked that the last line of every paragraph was about 1.5 lines down, and there appeared to be at least two line spaces between every paragraph. I've not contacted B&N about it yet, but thought I'd better warn the people in here. Very disturbing indeed. Still bought the book, but not in Nook format. |

Do those proportions change at different font sizes? Just curious.
