Prs 950 - Not avaible at UK?

HI

Well, after much suffering, I've decided to go with an sony prs-950 -.-.

(making my story short, if you wanna know, otherwise skip this: I live at Brazil, my uncle goes UK next 31th, it's cheaper for me to have get a Sony 950 over a kindle - the last one would coast me a bit more than 400 usd to be delivered at Brazil. Well I had considered delivering a kindle at UK to my uncle but, he's only 3 days there, catastrophic chances are HUGE =( ).

So i started checking sony center at London and guess! Seems the 950 is not even quoted at UK stores site, so I wonder (more like i'm almost sure) that the 950 is like an American release and not avaible in the UK ? =(

I'm pretty much toward sony's due pdf's better handling, I just find it IMPRESSIVE that the 650 does not have even wi-fi (ok, impressive is not the word, more like retrograde -.-).

Am I right bout availability at ok? Anyone knows other places besides sony center to find a 950 in London? ~~~

Thank you in forward!

It is, indeed, a American model.

hm Ok

thanks to confirm my fear-ings... I'll have them to conform myself with the paleozoid (or rather 90's) lack of wifi .-. But i swear I'll never understand Sony.

Thanks Again!

you can skip the taxes if you have it sent to you from the US as a "gift" I personally do not use the wifi on my 950, for an ebook reader the sony is in my opinion the best all round product

The 950 is only available in the US. I don't think it's even sold in Canada.
