Process Sync Disappearing and Komga help

Greetings,

I installed KOReader last night to be able to access Komga that resides on my server.

Looking at the Komga documentation it shows going into Process Sync, but it is rarely on screen and keeps disappearing. I will reboot, exit, toggle WIFI, and it may or may not reappear, so I am not too sure what is happening there.

Next is Komga, not too sure if anyone reading this uses Komga on their Kobo, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. The documentation at Komga isn't very detailed, so I am stumped. I added the API, added it as a catalog item, selected a sync folder, but nothing happens. Komga server is set up as per their directions so that KOReader is able to "read" it.

All I am looking for is to be able to use Komga on the Kobo, like I would on a table or computer. So, if anyone reading this has successfully implemented this from start to finish and can assist, that would be absolutely amazing!
