Formatted my SD Card w/o a backup. Am I borked?
TLDR: As the title says, I formatted my sd card without first creating a backup image. Do I now have an e-ink paperweight?
More details: My Clara has been bricked after leaving it idle for a couple of weeks. I tried all sorts of hard/soft resets. Nothing worked. Overwrote my sdcard with an Inbox image (3rd party OS). That didn't work. Now Im trying to restore to the kobo clara hd native OS. But the first step in the instructions is to create a copy of the original image. I dont have that anymore. Do I still have a path to recovering my beloved Clara? Thank you! Chris from miami |
