Kindle Jailbreak Issue: Restoring "Run Hotfix" Shortcut After Amazon Update to 5.18.4

I jailbroke my Kindle on version 5.17.2 and removed the "Run Hotfix" shortcut icon. Yesterday, when I turned on Wi-Fi to sync online books, Amazon secretly updated my Kindle to version 5.18.4. Is there any way to restore the "Run Hotfix" shortcut icon or re-jailbreak my device? I tried installing Update_hotfix_universal.bin, but it failed. I need help, thank you.

Copy Hotfix to the device gain, and it should pop up again. Basically just follow all the steps in Winterbreak webpage under Post Jailbreak section.

This is exactly why you'd install and activate an OTA blocker.

To restore, restart Kindle twice in a row. Then install the hotfix bin file with ;log mrpi command. Then actually run the Hotfix “book”. Then install OTA rename and run it from KUAL

The installation of Update_hotfix_universal.bin failed upon restart, and it appears Amazon has patched this issue. The ;log command is also no longer functional. The only thing left is KUAL, but it cannot run. I may have to wait for the next jailbreak opportunity.

I am wondering: Is it possible to copy the "Run Hotfix" e-book to the documents directory and click on it to see if it has any effect?
