Are the price of Macmillan eBooks increasing outside of the U.S.?

On my Kobo wishlist, multiple books have increased in price. The prices were added to my spreadsheet at the beginning of June, now wrong.

Points of note.
  • The one thing in common: Tor Books, Henry Holt, St. Martin's. All owned or distributed by Macmillan.
  • Most of them are previously CAD$16.99, now $21.99.
  • Others $12.99, now 16.99.
  • Canadian prices are the same on Amazon.
  • Checked eReaderIQ for the USD price history, have not increased.

Other countries too, Canada-specific? Tariff issues my first thought, but digital products not affected directly I think.

More notes:

The St. Martin's seem to have have jumped USD prices as well. [1]

Annoying, the Tor Books have decreased price in the U.S but increased in Canada. [1]

Seriously reconsidering what books i keep on wishlist.

For eBooks that have come down in price in the US, just travel to the US via the Kobo travel agency.

I'd rather not pay sales tax to a country where the leader repeatedly threatening to annex my country, thank you. (Don't worry mods, last political comment I make this thread.)

Put your place of residence as New Hampshire in the US. No sales tax.

The problem is that it's still one too many. Please make it the last in any thread outside of the P&R forum
