Maximum recursion depth exceeded

I was adding files and I got this error caliber, version 8.6.0

That's a very strange error, it indicates there is a reference cycle in the geometry data structure but as far as I can tell that cant happen unless one of the methods of QWidget is overriden to return something weird. Does the error
happen if you run calibre as

calibre --ignore-plugins

I only added blocks of 50 files, after restarting the error did not occur again

I wouldnt worry about it too much then. It's a pretty harmless error.
