Tolino Epos 7.8" Reader (SOLD on eBay)

This Tolino Epos sold this morning on eBay (7/6/25).

Advertised (with pictures) on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/167580598256

The Epos was the last of the Deutsche Telekom designed Tolinos — came out shortly after Kobo took over the hardware side of Tolino. Battery is still strong.

If you would rather not deal through eBay, I could cancel the listing and sell via PayPal for $8 less = $52, plus shipping ($8 is about what I would pay in eBay fees). I would prefer not to ship overseas (I live in the U.S.) as I haven't had much luck with overseas shipping in the past.

I'm going to be selling other Deutsche Telekom designed Tolinos shortly. Finally getting rid of most of my eReaders.

Cancelling and selling outside eBay would be a violation of their terms of service.

I think that applies to items that have been found on eBay but the buyer and seller somehow (not sure how they would do it) find a way to contact each other and make other arrangements. I see no stipulations on when or why a seller can cancel a Buy It Now auction. In this case a buyer would be finding the eReader via MobileRead, not eBay. But you may be right on the legalese, I don't know. I do know I can cancel the auction at any time. (And I know there are stipulations on when you can cancel a standard auction listing that already has bids, which is not the case here.) I also know that I've sometimes seen Buy It Now items simultaneously listed on eBay, Mercari, FaceBook and CraigsList.
