LitRPG Novels Question/Suggestion

calibre, version 8.5.0
ERROR: Empty search expression: Cannot search for '[' as it contains only punctuation and spaces.

For LitRPG novels they tend to have system descriptions between [ and ] but I can't use the search bar to find them that way as of right now or at least that I know of. Anyone got a solution? Or a plugin?

Preferably the next Calibre update has an exception and makes it so you can search for [ or ]. Or would that bother anyone else?

Checking the fts5 documentation, it seems the [ is considered a separator and not searchable.
