FootnoteLinker plugin won't work on Sigil 2.42.

Can anyone provide any feedback on why FootnoteLinker 0.3.3 wont work on Sigil 2.4.2, running Mac OS Sequoia.

Please post the exact error message.

FootnoteLinker is a relatively old plugin that uses the Tkinter GUI toolkit, which doesn't work well with macOS. You simply might not see its dialog in the dock.
(The dialog icon shows a white S on a red background.)

FWIW, tested that plugin on my MacOS box with Sigil 2.4.2 on it and can confirm what Doitsu said, it works just fine. You may have to click in the Finder's panel on the icon of a rocket blaster (icon for Python) to bring the app to the front but that is a Tk mac fluke.

That's a great tip, Kevin. I just tried it with Doitsu's RegexTexter plugin which uses Tk and where on my MacBook its GUI is very tiny (postage stamp size) and always hides behind the main Sigil window.

Tapping the rocket icon is faster than fiddling with the F3 key.
