For the NoteAir3 there is currently a full and an incremental update.
You will need to do the full update using custom recovery and a flash drive. The incremental update should not be done using recovery. You can either "Check for updates" in the Onyx settings or download update.upx, adb push it still encrypted on /sdcard/ then kick it to update. Code:
Model: NoteAir3 (English) Finger: Onyx/NoteAir3/NoteAir3:11/2025-03-27_10-47_v4.0-rel_2aa96eb60/7548:user/release-keys Link: http://firmware-us.boox.com/6f3fcc42fb6bde7e52e9633701b6ee47/update.upx Size: 1,854,809,998 MD5: 6f3fcc42fb6bde7e52e9633701b6ee47 Model: NoteAir3 (English) Finger: Onyx/NoteAir3/NoteAir3:11/2025-04-27_20-50_4.0.2_135ce530f/7596:user/release-keys Link: http://firmware-us.boox.com/25785598fc220f2835034b280ecf52e8/update.upx Size: 36,963,188 MD5: 25785598fc220f2835034b280ecf52e8 |

Pretty much the same way that you backed them up:
Code:
edl /lgoco7.bin edl /u0 /w /s0 /c0 backup0.img edl /u1 /w /s0 /c0 backup1.img edl /u2 /w /s0 /c0 backup2.img edl /u3 /w /s0 /c0 backup3.img edl /u4 /w /s0 /c0 backup4.img edl /u5 /w /s0 /c0 backup5.img edl /z |

Hi Renate. I got your message and custom rec
I flash the custom recovery to both rec a and b, after that reboot to recovery Code:
edl /u /w /precovery_a rec.img edl /u /w /precovery_b rec.img edl /z adb reboot recovery Code:
adb shell #id ..... #start autoupdate I format the data to make sure everything ok. It can be updated through ota to the latest 4.0.2 of Air3. Im testing the device now to see if there's any incompatibility |

Hi, I own a Note X3 Pro and I’m interested in flashing a compatible global ROM for this model. I saw that you successfully flashed the NA3 ROM on the Note X3 Pro. Have you experienced any issues while using it? Thanks!
