Sony PRS-900 Battery

Say what you want about the Sony PRS-900 and its "odd shape," (which I personally kind of like with it and the later PRS-950) — changing the battery on the PRS-900 was just plain easy. Why couldn't they do this with more eReaders?

I've attached some pictures to show what I mean. Kind of like replacing non-smartphone battery.

Here's the NewPower99 replacement video...

Note to JSWolf, I tried embedding the video, but it kept giving an error and saying "try again later."

I'd say it's the obsession with thinner devices and the usual manufacturer attitude toward longevity. It'll be a sad day when my PRS-350 battery dies if I can't get a replacement.

Working for me now also. I may have been putting in too much of the information. I can't remember for sure now.

Unfortunately, I'm guessing you're right about the obsession with thinness. But on the brighter side, batteries for the PRS-350 still seem to be widely available. Hope they still work as I've got one 350 left that I want to keep and it will need a battery sooner or later.
