Was struggeling with the SD card not being detected. Tried to boot but tolino was stuck at the three dots, no reaction at all.

There was a glue on one of the contacts in the reader, could luckily fix it - tolino now back to life. Many thanks again @Waldy for the image, much appreciated!

I would also like an image for a new SD card, as the old one could not be read by a windows computer, after the ereader gave the three dots screen. Many thanks in advance.

Does MiniTool Partition Wizard see the SD card?
You can try saving the image using dmde.

Minitool doesn't see the SD card. :-( I might have damaged it, pulling it out of the holder? When I put it back in the ereader, the reader doesn't give the moving three dots any longer.

In 90% of cases, it's a dirty SD card slot. Cut a strip of thick paper the appropriate size, about the thickness of the micro SD card. You may need to clean it several times.
Depending on the device's condition when the SD card is inserted, you may need to hold the Power button for 20 seconds, connect it to a PC, etc.

My tolino Vision 6 broke last week with the "three dots of death". I haven't even been able to boot into recovery mode at first.
But after removing the SD card (known pretty fiddly job), I have been able to still create an image from it (with Roadkil's Disk Image 1.6) without any obvious error.
Interestingly, booting into recovery mode became possible after re-inserting the SD card into the device. But there are various I/O errors shown during recovery and it doesn't bring the system back to live.

There might be an issue with the onboard SD card reader, although I did perform the cleaning with some folded paper as mentioned in Waldy's last post.
Nevertheless, I would like to give it another try with a known working image to make sure it's not just some bit errors on the old SD card...

So could you also share the firmware image download link with me, please @Waldy?
