New Kindle mbp format?
Has Kindle changed its format? I have just bought a book and instead of the familiar azw file I have only .mbp and .mbpV2 files. Any way how to remove the DRM??

What is Kindle MBP format?
MBP files are Mobipocket Notes Files which contain the e-book notes the users created in an e-book such as corrections, annotations, drawings, as well as other important marks. MBP files do not contain the e-book itself; they just refer to the notes that the users marked while reading a certain e-book.

What is a MBPV2 file?
A .MBPV2 file is an Amazon Kindle Ebook Metadata file.

If you see those files without an associated book file that usually means that you previously removed the downloaded book from your device.
