I'm using it on Clara 2E. It works fine, although I think the settings.ini may have been re-created, maybe? I always use the clock on the left, after the upgrade it was on the Right. I changed it back and it's fine again.

I backup the .adds folder periodically and I just now checked my backups. The reset definitely happened:

Is there a way that a setting can be added to the configurations file, to only update clock/battery on a page turn instead of every minute.

New to the Kobo world and experiencing the same flashing issue on my KLC.

Are there any other clock plugins to check out while we wait for this issue to be solved? Or is NickelClock still the best option even with this bug?

I am also interested in this.

I have had an occasional issue where a page doesn't turn when I request it, then I get a double-turn when I request it again. This happens with both screen touches and button presses on a Libra 2. I suspect that there might be a collision where the page turn and the clock update are requested simultaneously, and the clock wins out.

I uninstalled NickelClock two weeks ago, and haven't seen the double-turn since. Obviously this is just conjecture at this point, YMMV.

Interesting. I have also seen the page-turn issue and have Nickle clock installed (but not willing to give it up even if it's the cause - and I still want the correct time). Wondering if the others seeing this issue have it installed. Anyway, please do let us know if it turns out to just be coincidence.

Unless my mind has wandered off, it takes me less than a minute to read a screenful of words, so I'm not concerned about the time updating between page turns.

I agree that this would not normally be a problem. But I recall an instance when I was playing around with menus/options or some such on KOreader and some setting about updating the time was unchecked and I suddenly realized it was something like a half hour later than the clock showed So I'd likely shy away from a clock that doesn't always update.

Version v0.3.3 has been released.

This resolves an issue regarding loading multiple nickel mods. Refer to https://github.com/pgaskin/NickelHook/issues/9 for details.

This release might solve issues for people who have had issues with NickelClock randomly disappearing, NickelClock not loading at all, or settings not applying consistently.

I wonder whether you are insterested in an additional setting.

I like to see the clock while reading but not the Battery all the time. So it is disable ... and ... suddenly the reader is empty.

I kike to see the Battery when the loading is below 10 percent.

Is this something which sounds good for you?
