Sunny and 23° reaching up to 29° by late afternoon. Sadly, the weekend doesn't look as good. As the old joke puts it, what do you call a sunny day after two days of rain? Monday!

The last couple of days it has been around 20℃, from today it'll get warmer. Today it will be around 25℃ and the rest of the week it'll be between 25℃ and 30℃. I'll experience how warm it'll get in my attic bedroom. Luckily I have two windows opposite each other, so I can at least air the room out at night. I also have my good fan on standby.

After a week of high humidity and near-record heat, with temperatures in the 90s (F) and "feels like" temperatures in the 100 to 105 range, today was a welcome change! A cold front blew through this morning, breaking the heatwave without bringing any rain. The high temp for the day was 78°, the sky was variably cloudy, and it was downright windy -- and the humidity was very low. It was great to spend some time on the back deck with a mug of tea and something to read (when I wasn't daydreaming).
