So have The Second Chronicles of Amber (S.F. MASTERWORKS Book 192) and
Seven Tales in Amber: Stories from the Chronicles of Amber Saga on my list and maybe some day they'll be on sale.
The Second Chronicles have gone on offer in the past, and might do so again in the future.

Grantville Gazette is back!

I may have been unobservant, but I just found out that the material that used to be in the Grantville Gazette (from Baen Books, and then from Ring of Fire Press) is now available on Smashwords.

Search for the author "1632 & Beyond " To find

Eric Flint's 1632 & Beyond issue numbers 1 through 5.

https://www.smashwords.com/books/byseries/98372

This is not on any special sale, but I am glad to see this stuff emerging from the estate of Eric Flint. And poking around, it looks like most if not all of the books previously published by Ring of Fire Press are available to buy from Baen Books.

This does not seem legal. Who is this 1632 and Beyond person? What right does this person have to post this content on Smashwords?

Sheesh. Paranoid much?

To quote from a press release a while back: 'There is a new magazine for short stories, "Eric Flint's 1632 & Beyond."'

You can also check their webpage at: Eric Flint's 1632 & Beyond. You can also purchase all 102 issues of The Grantville Gazette from their website.

Molly Gloss's first novel Outside the Gates is $2 on Amazon.com
Quote:
Villagers were always warned that monsters live outside the gates, but when a young boy named Vren is cast out, he finds a home in the world beyond, in Whiting Award winner Molly Gloss’s classic fantasy novel.

Vren has always been told that the world beyond the gates of his village is one filled with monsters, giants, and other terrifying creatures. But when he confides with his family about his ability to talk to animals, he’s outcast to the very world he’s been taught to fear his whole life. He expects to die alone, lost and confused, but he finds something different altogether—refuge in a community of shadowed people with extraordinary powers.

Thirty years later, Molly Gloss’s dystopian fantasy novel is just as timely, poignant, and stirring as ever, in a brand-new edition!

Your Shadow Half Remains by Sunny Moraine is $3 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
Novella.
Quote:
A post-apocalyptic tale where eye contact causes people to spiral into a deadly, violent rage.

ONE LOOK CAN KILL.

Riley has not seen a single human face in longer than she can reckon. No faces, no eyes. Not if you want to survive.

But when a new neighbor moves in down the road, Riley’s overwhelming need for human contact makes her throw caution to the wind. Somehow, in this world where other people can mean a gruesome, bloody death, Ellis makes her feel safe. As they grow closer, Riley’s grip on reality begins to slip and she can no longer fight her deepest desires.

All Riley wants to do is look.

Kinning (Everfair #2) by Nisi Shawl is $3 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)
Quote:
Kinning, the sequel to Nisi Shawl’s acclaimed debut novel Everfair, continues the stunning alternate history where barkcloth airships soar through the sky, varied peoples build a new society together, and colonies claim their freedom from imperialist tyrants.

The Great War is over. Everfair has found peace within its borders. But our heroes’ stories are far from done.

Tink and his sister Bee-Lung are traveling the world via aircanoe, spreading the spores of a mysterious empathy-generating fungus. Through these spores, they seek to build bonds between people and help spread revolutionary sentiments of socialism and equality—the very ideals that led to Everfair’s founding.

Meanwhile, Everfair’s Princess Mwadi and Prince Ilunga return home from a sojourn in Egypt to vie for their country’s rule following the abdication of their father King Mwenda. But their mother, Queen Josina, manipulates them both from behind the scenes, while also pitting Europe’s influenza-weakened political powers against one another as these countries fight to regain control of their rebellious colonies.

Will Everfair continue to serve as a symbol of hope, freedom, and equality to anticolonial movements around the world, or will it fall to forces inside and out?
Our Lady of Mysterious Ailments (Edinburgh Nights #2) by T. L. Huchu is $3 in the US (Kobo, Amazon)

A big chunk of Jodi Taylor's Chronicles of St. Mary's series has recently dropped in price at Kindle UK - mostly from £4.99 to £2.99. And there have been some price drops in the US too (to $2.99), but not as many. In any case, there are too many titles for me to list, but below are links to the series webpages. And a few are also on sale at Kobo US, and presumably at Kobo UK, although I don't tend to check there. So if you have a hole or two to fill in...

Here's the Kobo UK link for Jodi Taylor's books in order of low to high. Even better then buying from Amazon as you get ePub.
