I've weighed them both up but realistically you need to define what your needs are. I found the Sony T1 does too much and it's form isn't as nice as the kobo. If you want a simple reader then go the kobo. If you want audio then go the Sony. I suggest going to a store and holding them and playing with them. Also don't forget to check which stores suit your needs. Good luck and happy reading.
