I must say I do not track the battery life. I can still use it intensively for several days, or leave it off for weeks without a problem. The battery was at 84% last time it happened. Plugging it into a charger does not fix the problem when it arises. Not sure that means it is not the battery.

I will contact pocketbook to see what they think.
