Gillmore, Rufus: The Ebony Bed Murder (1932): V1

Traditional detective novel by American author and journalist Rufus Gillmore (1869-1935.) So far as I can find out, he had just four books published.

A glamorous, famous, much married (profitably) woman is shot dead in her bedroom, and the suspects include several well-connected ex-husbands and even the boss of one of New York's most powerful crime gangs.

Complete with a map, and a timetable, in the classic style.
