Thank you BookCat for your input. I am staying away from Kindles for Amazon reasons

. Since the time I posted my query I have acquired more Sony readers thinking that i'd get overbid on at least some cases, but no, I won them all. chargers, cases and all.

I feel like someone who have taken in strays, and will continue to get them up and running. The 900s (daily editions, too), 600, and PRS-T1s all have hand writing apps which i love. I've gotten the T1 to read chinese thanks to info from the forum. My next project is to undo the corrupting of files I did to the 600 without losing the nice collections that came with the unit!!
