Hello, America recounts the early days of broadcasting from Europe to America. As one of the first broadcasters to America from Europe for the 'upstart' network CBS, Saerchinger recounts numerous humorous and serious events in the 1930s. His spot was taken over by the famous Edward R. Murrow.
As Saerchinger died in 1971, the books is copyright most everywhere, except the US where the copyright was not renewed.
