Yes, a pointless whack-a-mole game. Which I saw once in an arcade!
As an aside a German supermarket chain sold mole traps in their N.I. branch, but not Irish Branch. There are moles in mainland GB (Scotland., England and Wales) and mainland Europe, North America and parts of Asia, but not on the Island of Ireland. The Normans brought rabbits in the 12th C., so before that only hares. Hence Chinese see a 'Rabbit in the Moon' but ancient Celts in Ireland saw a 'Hare in the Moon'. Others see a 'Man in the Moon'.
Same supermarket Chain regularly sells Digital (DAB+) radios and alarm clocks even though Ireland only ever had 43% coverage and it was shut down about two years ago. Unlikely to return. The Mole traps was the sole time I know they nearly got it right (Ireland vs UK products). For decades UK stores in Ireland sold UK phones & fax (need adaptor) and later sold UK Digital TVs that didn't work at all on an aerial for Digital. Sometimes 1970s to 2000s they sold Analogue TV with only UHF, but Ireland also used VHF for 625 Analogue TV (UK VHF was till 1985 and only 405 lines).
