Well, it was easier than I thought for me to get rid of the ads but also lose the offers (i can live without them however!)
Amazon accepted to remove the offers and ads from my kindle!
But:
1. I could no way return it (gift, no receipt, bought in a store in usa, I live in greece)
2. I explained to them I hate the ad-thing and I am willing to pay for an updating to "normal" version
Oh, I am so happy I will see the dead authors, as some of you say!!! no more hotel ads!!!
I hope you all find your way to a better kindle relationship!
And as we say in greece these days, the only struggle that is lost, is the one not given!
