Frozen with "Stop Sign"
Hello all,
Very odd situation and I can't seem to find any other reference to something similar.
I plugged my PRS-700 into my computer and downloaded some books into it. The power meter indicated that it was about 50%. Left it plugged in overnight. When I looked at it this morning, it was frozen. It says "Restarting" on the bottom and has a stop sign with an Exclaimation point in the center of the screen.
I figured I should try charging it with the PSP charger, but it stayed plugged in all day today and is still "frozen." So I'm thinking it isn't a power issue.
Has anyone encountered this? Soft reset doesn't work. Since the machine is powered on already, a hard reset isn't really possible. It's just totally unresponsive.
The interesting thing is that even though it's frozen, you can still see the icons. It says I have no books, no songs, and no pictures. Which clearly shouldn't be the case.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
