However, the investigators report that study participants with the highest level of cellphone use had a 40 percent higher risk for a type of brain tumor called a glioma. It should be noted that since that study, "CREAL is co-ordinating a new project, MobiKids, funded by the European Union, to investigate the risk of brain tumours from mobile phone use in childhood and adolescence."
But no conclusive evidence linking health problems to cellphones has yet been reached regarding that study, so no such valid claims can be made in this thread.
