Publius: The Federalist Papers. eReader. 30 Jan 2008

This book can be read using eReader. The eReader eBook reader is published in versions for Palm OS, Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Windows, Macintosh, and OQO. I've tested this eBook on a Sony Clie Palm OS device and on a Windows Vista PC. It formats differently between the two different screen sizes: some images appear as icons on the Palm OS that appear as proper images on the PC screen.

The Federalist Papers comprise a series of 85 articles first published in various New York newspapers in 1787 and 1788. They were written by the revolutionaries Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay, using the pseudonym Publius. The series attempts to persuade the American people to ratify the proposed Constitution of the United States.

The articles are numbered. Most articles include the original publisher's name and some give the date they were first published. This eBook edition includes a section "About This Book" in the Contents list (it's the last item on the list) which is the Wikipedia article relating to the Federalist Papers at the time I formatted the eBook.

I found errors in this eBook and am posting a corrected copy as of 1 Feb 2008
