I think the easiest way would be to connect the Nook to your PC via USB and then use Windows Explorer to browse the directories and delete the files you side-loaded.

Another, even quicker way would be to go through the procedure to restore it to its initial state, which is detailed in the documentation (I think it is in the unregister area).
